NEELUM VALLEY (SAPPHIRE TRAIL):
Neelum Valley is located in Azad Jammu and Kashmir , Pakistan. It was remain undiscovered for tourist for long period of time. Tourism in Neelam Valley is developed in last three to four years just because of law and order situation in northern areas of Pakistan. Neelum valley is called be just like heaven on Earth. There is no place in world which is such beautiful and near to nature.
Introduction:
Neelum valley is thick forested region and it is named after the Neelum river which flows through out the Neelam Valley. Neelum Valley is located in North of Muzaffarabad and it is parallel to Valley of Naran and Kaghan. Their is thick forest and highly snow covered mountain between these Neelum and Kaghan Valley.
Accessibility:
Muzaffarabad is a capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This valley is connected with Muzaffarabad through Neelum Road. If we talk about road condition of Neelum valley three to four year ago there was not a road it was track and there were daily accidents . But right now road condition of Neelum valley is very good as it is maintained by National Highway.
If You travel through public transport in every 30 minutes van is depart from Muzaffarabad to Neelam Valley.

Jura:
Jura is located around 55 km away from Muzaffarabad. It is highly populated area among all villages. It is famous for its bazar, Mountain view and neelam river view.
Accommodation is easily available there are number of guest houses but services and hospitality is not good.
Kundal Shai:
When we starts journey from Jura we reach kundal shai with in couple of minutes as it is located 74 km away from Muzaffarabad. and few km away from Jura. Kundal shai is biggest bazar of Neelum Valley with a number of Resturants and Guest Houses. In kundal shai you will get all the basic goods and items.
From Kundal shai there are two roads on left there is Kutton,and Jagran.(sight undiscovered but unforgettable views fabulous places) and on right side Athmuqam,Keran,Neelum Village,Kel,Arang Kel,Sharda,Taobat
Kutton:
Kuttan is located in left of Kundal Shai and the distance between Kundal shai and Kutton is Just 8 km. and the distance between Muzaffarabad and Neelum valley kutton is 82 km. Kutton valley is world class for its beauty and hospitality there is project of hydro power produces 2 MW. the waterfall near this project is fabulous. There are number of guest houses but hospitalailty in Kutton colony is world class better to any other in neelum valley as this colony is managed by Ajk Tourist department.
Jagran :
Jagran is another beautiful place is just 5 km away from kutton colony but you can't travel on your own vehicle you must hire a jeep to reach there. Jagran is world famous for not just because of its beauty but there is world class and Asia's best under the mountain JAGRAN HYDRO POWER PROJECT. This project was completed by Korean company and it produce 32 MW electricity which is included in National Grid. Dodh gian is a village located 1 km away from kutton there will be 2nd hydro power project started in 2017.

Dudhial :
One of very
famous and beautiful place of Neelum valley. Sight deserve to stay there for a
night there are number of colleges, hospital and private rest houses.
Sharda:
The world
famous for its beauty and attraction located on Bank of Neelum river. No doubt it’s
just like paradise on Earth. Distance from Muzaffarabad to Sharda is 136 km by
car and from Athmuqam to Sharda its 52 km by car.
